Theme: Grid Focus by Derek Punsalan.
i thought his breakout album was trap muzik?
rubber band man, 24s and lets get away just to name a few…
and if not trap muzik what about urban legend???
King was his first album to go number 1 on the Billboard 200 for all genres. Trap Muzik was 4, Urban Legend was 7. “What you know” is absolutely the song that propelled him to the level he’s at today. It peaked at 3 on the billboard charts and 1 US Rap and US R&B. His next closest single was “Bring ‘em out” from Urban Legend which peaked at 9, 6, and 4 respectively. His older albums are dope, but King was what made him famous. Numbers don’t lie.
King sold 522,000 in the first week. Urban Legend was at 193,000 and Trap Muzik sold 109,000. King was his breakout album.
